Nicole Disson is a producer specializing in live and immersive performance, art-infused film, and cross-genre works of fine art. Disson has produced projects for a wide range of creative makers, including Mike Mills, Zoe Cassavetes, Alma Har’el, Benjamin Millepied, Lita Albuquerque, Quentin Dupieux, Isaiah Seret, Orville Peck, Aurelie Saada, Raine Allen-Miller, Ariana Delawari, Berénice Eveno and Mariana Blanco. Disson has produced works for VOGUE, Free The Work, L.A. Dance Project, The Getty Museum, Laguna Art Museum, American Red Cross, Mercedes-Benz, Spotify, Saatchi Art, Delvaux, and NOWNESS. Films Disson has produced have screened at SXSW, Marfa Film Festival (opening night), Cleveland Film Festival, Brooklyn Short Film Festival, and Boston International Film Festival, among others. Disson produced JUNIOR, a web-series directed by Zoe Cassavetes, which was nominated for the Gotham Award for best short form series.  

In 2009, Disson created THE SERIES, a monthly immersive art event that brought artists together to create new works of multi-disciplinary collaboration. This regular series of site-specific performances lasted for six years, and featured artists including HAIM, L.A. Dance Project, Nina McNeely, Tessa Thompson, IO ECHO, Mia Doi Todd, Harper Simon, Aaron Rose, Alexander Kori Girard,  Jacqueline Suskin, Mandy Kahn, Jenny O., TEARIST, Alia Penner, Ate9 Dance Company, Henry Wolfe, Zoe Aja Moore, Ali Helnwein, Elena Stonaker, Buckley, America Martin, Tamara Yajia, Amy Jo Diaz, Mariana Blanco, Zoë Nissman, Carolyn Pennypacker Riggs, Dave Shook, Diaz, Diva Dompe, Heather Porcaro, Hysterica Dance Co., Isabelle Albuquerque, Jasmine Albuquerque Croissant, Jason Ritter, Jenny Holter, Kate Durbin, Kate Johnson, L.A. Contemporary Dance Company, Opera Del Espacio, Jena Malone, Poor Dog Group,; it originally took place at the Standard Hotel DTLA, but later moved to the Ace Hotel.

In addition to being a producer, Disson is also an actor; she played Elizabeth Moss' spouse in Brandi Carlile’s video “Party Of One,” and has acted in live productions that appeared at LACMA, REDCAT, Magic Theatre, Marin Theatre, B ST, Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Kennedy Center Source Theatre Workshop, Boston Court, Open Fist (including the world premiere of Frank Zappa’s rock opera JOE'S GARAGE) and Soho House West Hollywood (featured performer New Years Eve). Disson received a B.F.A. in Acting from Florida State University, was a founding member of the LA Ladies Choir, and was an apprentice to actress Ann Reinking. 

Disson currently works in development at Viva Maude, a film and TV production founded by Tessa Thompson.
